Woodcocks Glass manufactures and supplies double-glazed units to your specifications. If you don't want to create your double glazing panels yourself using our website, Woodcocks Glass also offers a measure and fit service. We can come to your premises and measure up your panels; we can also select matching glass and fittings for your replacement double-glazed units.
Simply fill in our Double Glazed Unit Configurator below, select whether you want to pick up or have the units delivered, and away you go. Save time and money on custom-built sealed units for every kind of home!
Ordering direct means you're not paying for a salesperson, a home visit, or a showroom — just the glass, cut and sealed exactly to your measurements. That's why our prices are typically lower than high-street double glazing suppliers, without any compromise on quality. Every unit is manufactured at our own plant in Westerham, Kent, using the same glass and spacer bar options trade installers use.
Not sure which glass to choose? Our glass options guide explains the difference between standard, Low Emissivity, and Planitherm glass in plain English — or get in touch and we're happy to advise.
We manufacture and deliver double-glazed sealed units to homes and trade customers across Westerham, Sevenoaks, Tandridge, Reigate, Redhill, Merstham, Croydon, Bromley and the wider Kent, Surrey and South London area. If you'd rather not measure and order yourself, we also offer a measure and fit service — just get in touch, and we'll come to you.
Measure the width and height of the glass itself, not the frame, at the narrowest points. Our step-by-step Instructions page walks you through the full process. If you don't want the faff, call and we can come out and measure up for you, then return and fit. There is an additional charge for this.
6mm glass is thicker and stronger than 4mm, and is generally recommended for larger units. Both are available in clear or Low Emissivity (Softcoat) options, which reflect heat back into the room for better insulation. Go to this page for more glass options. You can also choose a differnet thickness/type of inner glass for your sealed glazing units.
UK building regulations require toughened glass in certain locations — for example, low-level glazing, doors, and glazing near floor level. If you're not sure whether your window needs it, get in touch and we'll advise before you order.
For privacy or simply for style, you can order Pilkington patterned glass of varying opacities. We even have a type of unit that can work like a blind within the glass and reduce sunlight/increase privacy, if needed.
Standard units typically take 3-5 working days. Toughened glass units take 7-10 working days due to the additional processing involved.
We deliver locally within a 15-mile radius of our plant at no extra cost. For locations further afield, email us to check delivery options, or arrange collection.
